Congratulations to Luke Cho for receiving the OURSIP grant which will support his summer internship at the Niv Lab!

Kudos to Isabel and Dan who participated in the Society for Affective Science Conference 2025! Isabel presented her work on ‘Using computational modeling to uncover the mechanism underlying spontaneous recovery after fear extinction’ and Dan presented a flash talk on ‘Semantic similarity between clients and therapists predicts alliance and treatment outcomes in large-scale digital psychotherapy’.

Jialing has been awarded a grant from the Centre for Health and Wellbeing for her exciting research proposal! Congratulations!!

Congratulations to Dan-Mircea Mirea for giving a data blitz talk titled “Individuals with depression show heightened sensitivity to social media rewards” at the SPSP Psychology of Media & Technology Preconference 2025 ! Dan also gave a poster with the same title at the main SPSP conference.

Congratulations to Dan who is a graduate fellow at Data-Driven Social Science for the Spring semester! He has also been awarded the Charlotte Elizabeth Procter Honorific Fellowship which “recognizes students in their later year of study for outstanding academic performance and professional promise”. Wow!
